Pontiac Aztek Ahoy!

This was the first Aztek I photographed on May 12, 2012. I spotted this beast in the Lakeland College parking lot. The sun was very bright and I was rushed so I was unable to take a full photo. (At least this was better than my first attempt that had my hand covering most of the picture.) I quickly sent it to Jared and he said this type looked better than the model he was more familiar with because it does not have the plastic piece hanging down under the doors. I would have really liked to get a full picture of this monster but you get what you get. This photo is also notable for the generation IV Dodge Grand Caravan parked next to it. I say that the Dodge Grand Caravan is the most 'grande' of ALL the vans, but more about that coming in a later post.

This Toyota Previa was photographed on April 14, 2012 at St. Vencent de Paul (aka St. Vinnie's) in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Things to note: multiple rust spots, bent up license plate, and formerly nice blue paint. I don't know who that lady is in the back, but she seems concerned that I am taking this picture.
Conclusion: the salty winters of Wisconsin are not nice to older vans.

New Beginnings

The idea for this blog first came to me when my phone started to fill up with pictures of Pontiac Azteks and various mini vans that I was sending to my friend and car aficionado, Jared. So this is the place that I will post some of these pictures. Don't forget about the "whatnot" though. I take pick of many cars that would tickle his fancy. I'll try to write a little about the vehicle that I'm posting; where, when, and what it is. Hopefully I have enough to get a good amount on this blog. Have fun and easy reading.
